Exhibition for Tourists

Bursztynowe Centrum (Amber Centre) is a exceptional exhibition created especially for tourist's groups visiting Polish coast. We are located on the picturesque, lovely Sobieszewska Island, in the heart of Polish amber coast.

Our visitors have an opportunity to:

• acquaint themselves with the fascinating history of amber and its origins;
• watch a fascinating multimedia presentation about myths, acquiring amber etc.;
• try working on pieces of amber delivered by the organizers in our small workshop;
• watch and buy unique pieces of amber (inclusions, specimens characterized by singular shape and color) objects of art featuring amber;
• admire fine masterpieces of amber craftsmanship;
• buy an exquisite amber jewellery at bargain prices.

For organised tours we can prepare presentation at any time and any day of year - please contact us before. For individuals we are open July-August everyday 18.00-21.00 CET.

Sobieszewska Island offers many tourist attractions. You will find there two unique national parks, residence of Albert Forster (member of NSDAP, who governed Gdansk during World War II) and many more. It is a perfect place for a whole day excursion.
